Disposable Microtherapy needles

S.I.T.

The microtherapy needles are the so-called “S.I.T.” which stands for Skin Injection Therapy, they are formed by an upturned bell in the middle of which a 31Gx2.5mm needle is applied. Microtherapy is an injection technique for the administration of superficial intradermal drugs and is added to the classic routes of intramuscular, intravenous and subcutaneous injection. Thanks to the S.I.T. the drug is administered at the level of the superficial dermis (papillary layer) immediately below the stratum corneum of the skin. The S.I.T. it must be grafted onto a normal pre-filled disposable syringe, the bell-shaped part must be placed on the skin and kept pressed during the injection.
